What is TCX?

TCX (Training Center XML) is Garmin's training format — like GPX but with extra workout data such as heart rate and laps.

What is GPX?

GPX (GPS Exchange Format) is the universal, human-readable XML standard for GPS tracks — understood by almost every map, route planner, watch and hiking site.

Why convert TCX to GPX?

TCX from Garmin Training Center or Strava is not read everywhere. Convert it to GPX so any map, planner or editor can open your track.

How to convert TCX to GPX

1. Drop your TCX file above (or click to choose). 2. It is converted on the spot. 3. Your GPX download starts automatically. No sign-up, and your file is never stored.

FAQ

What happens to my file?

Your file is sent to the Reisezoom server for processing, handled there and deleted immediately — nothing is stored. A browser cannot read FIT, TCX, KML or KMZ — some of those are packed binary formats. The conversion uses the same component as the desktop app.

Is it free, no sign-up?

Yes — completely free, no sign-up, and your file is never stored; it is only used to convert.

What about heart rate in the TCX?

The GPS track and elevation are exported to GPX. Sensor streams like heart rate are not part of the standard GPX track.
