Drop a GPX file (or FIT, TCX, KML/KMZ, GeoJSON) and get an instant elevation profile of the whole track, plus total ascent, descent and the min/max altitude. Move your mouse along the chart to read distance and height at each point.
FAQ
What happens to my file?
GPX files are read right in your browser. Other formats (FIT, TCX, KML/KMZ, GeoJSON, NMEA) can't be read by a browser — those are sent to the Reisezoom server for conversion, processed there and deleted immediately. GPX is text and is read in the browser. Every other format has to be converted first, and only the server can do that.
How is ascent calculated?
Total ascent and descent are summed with a small 3-metre threshold to filter GPS noise.
Does my file leave my device?
GPX is processed in your browser; other formats are only converted, never stored.
